Clients tell me what they want. They tell me who they want to be and what they want to accomplish. And they tell me how disappointed they are that they aren’t doing more. Then I ask them this:
“Do you have enough energy for the life you have right now?”
No one has ever said “Yes”.
Isn’t that astounding?
We seem to be operating on the assumption that energy is free and freely available, and that we will never run out or have to do anything to maintain our energy.
But that’s like an athlete who never stops performing. Eventually, you are going to burn out.
Before you expect more of yourself, ask yourself if you have enough energy.
Do you have energy for your life right now?
Do you have enough energy for the life you dream of?
Wouldn’t it be horrible to find our purpose or meet our soul-mate and not have the energy to engage?
The physical body is real. And it is miraculous. But you can’t expect to be ignorant of your body and ignorant of the needs you have as a human and thrive. It just doesn’t work.
I don’t care how smart you are, how into the law of attraction you are, how much you pray, how much you think - if you are not respons-able - able to respond - to the requirements of your body, your body will not be able to respond to the requirements of your life and your dreams.
Try this:
Eat every 2 hours: apple, raw nuts, salad, whey protein shake, banana with organic peanut butter, etc.
Move your body every 2 hours: stretch, go up and down 2 flights of stairs, jog in place, do 10 push-ups, do 10 squats, etc.
Drink plenty of water.
Get lots and lots and lots of greens.
If you are over 35, take a chromium and CoQ10 supplement.
Simple, easy, effective. You’ll have more energy in no time.
